First posting: Quiet Leadership Launch, 11 April 2006
AUSTRALIAN CONSULATE, MANHATTANWell it finally happened. After 10 years of thinking, 4 years of procrastinating, 1 year of planning and 1 year of writing, it's out: some of my best thinking about how to coach others, in 288 pages. A big thank you to my wife Lisa and Trinity, both for your patience, and for being there at the big event.
The launch in NYC was exciting and terrifying all at once.
With 120 people, there was nothing to do but stand still and allow people to share their excitement. Thanks to the Consul General John Olson (pictured) for a generous opening speech, and thanks to Harper Collins for publishing the book.
